ROY Hodgson described today's 3-0 defeat at Swansea as Albion's worst performance of the season - and handed the plaudits to the hosts.
The Hawthorns boss was disappointed by the manner in which his side conceded against the Barclays Premier League newcomers but insisted Brendan Rodgers' team more than deserved their victory.
The Baggies were slow out of the blocks and conceded after 14 minutes, with Scott Sinclair converting a penalty after a clumsy challenge by Paul Scharner on Joe Allen.
Leroy Lita capitalised on poor marking to double the lead ten minutes later and any hopes the visitors had of a second-half revival were dashed four minutes after the break by Nathan Dyer's strike.
What do you think about the defeat?
